We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior SPV Accountant to join our client’s team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will manage the accounting and financial reporting for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial operations.

Functie
As a Senior SPV Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of SPVs.
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Coordinating and liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes and implementing best practices.
Functie-eisen
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on SPV accounting or fund accounting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
